Our School celebrated its Annual Function ‘Samavesh’ and Prize Giving ceremony on 23rd December, 2017. Mr. Bhupender Mavi, Chairman OBC Commission was the Guest of Honour. The theme ‘Samavesh’ echoed the school’s

 philosophy of Vasudeva Kutumbakam and nurtured the students for Global Citizenship. All the performances were an amalgamation of Indian as well as foreign cultures. The students of class VIIIth presented all the dance performances with perfect poise, sync and rhythm. The students who excelled in academics and sports were felicitated by the guest

and the Founder Principal Dr. Mrs. Manik Barsaley, Principal Dr. S.K Sharma, Vice Principals Mr Vibhu Shrotria and Mrs. Pooja Vipul Barsaley, Headmistress Mrs. Purnima Upadhyay and all the Incharges. The teachers achieving 100% result in the board examination were honoured by Mr. Bhupender Mavi. The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs. Pooja Vipul Barsaley and she appreciated all the efforts of the teachers and the students for making the event a great success.

:: ANNUAL FUNCTION "GUNJAN - 7" ::

Greenfields Public School, Dilshad Garden organized ‘Gunjan – 7’, the annual day of Middle Deptt. to mark the Golden Jubilee Year Celebrations in its premises on 19th Dec. 2015. Mr. Gopal Rai, Transport & Rural Development Minister was the Chief Guest of the day.  Mr. Rajendra Pal Gautam, MLA Seemapuri, Mr. Mohd. Ali, Additional DCP and Ms. Usha Kumari, Regional Director East (Deptt. of Education) were the Guests of Honour. Mr. D.P. Jain, Chairman of Greenfields Public School presided over the function.

The programme commenced with the lighting of lamp by Dr. (Ms) Manik Barsaley, Founder Principal, Dr. S.K. Sharma, Principal, Mr. Vibhu Shrotria and Ms. Pooja Barsaley (Vice Principal), Ms. Purnima Upadhyay (Head Mistress) and Incharges present on the occasion. The guests were felicitated with bouquets, planters and mementos.

 

A Saga of Golden Era (Greenfields Ki Kahani) showcased 50 glorious years of Greenfields. It was nostalgic reminiscing the golden moments and looking back at the memorable journey of the school. Sufism- a mystic tradition that consists of varied range of ideas that emphasize on the attainment of divine life and compassion was presented through Qawwali- the devotional form of music known for its worldly appeal transcending  all bounds of limitation of countries and different region. Children with disabilities in India are subject to multiple deprivations and limited opportunities in several dimensions of their lives. ‘Prayas’ was an attempt to make a difference for children who are differently abled and special. Environment- the God created domiciliary is facing a threat from the reckless and the caustic human nature. Nature- Save Environment was an initiative to realize the importance of healthy environment. Save Ganga Movement- a widespread Gandhian non-violent movement was supported in Ganga- Hamari Dharohar to protect the largest and the most sacred river of India with enormous spiritual, cultural and physical influence. Fashion Show: Mera Bharat Meri Jaan- invoked a feeling of patriotism presenting India as a land of varied culture and traditions. The students showcased their dramatic talent in the English Skit ` Les Mise’rables’ which was appreciated by one and all. Dances are a form of coherent expression of human beings and have become an integral part of our social milieu which was well depicted in Jhankar- riveting dance performances which added color to the event. A flavor of international dances was also added in Razzmatazz wherein the students danced with great poise and rhythm.

The event was a plethora of skills. The attires and performances mesmerized the audience.

 Hon’ble Mr. Gopal Rai praised the efforts of the students and the teachers who motivated them to showcase their talent and wished luck to the students and the school in their future endeavors. Ms. Usha Kumari appreciated the immense talent of the children and excellently choreographed programs. She also congratulated the Founder Principal , Principal and teachers for putting up a spectacular show. Mr. Rajendra Pal Gautam and Mr. Mohd. Ali also lauded the efforts of the children and congratulated the school for boosting the talent of the children.

 The event concluded with the Vote of thanks and National Anthem.

 

:: ANNUAL FUNCTION "ABHYUTHAN" ::

Greenfields Public School, Dilshad Garden, Delhi organized their Annual Function and Prize Giving Ceremony on 5th December, 2015 in the School Premises. A Ballet ABHYUTHAN –THE PROGRESSION was staged by the students of class x. The programme commenced by the Lighting of Lamp by the Chief Guest-Mr. Ram Niwas Goel, hon’ble Speaker of Delhi Legislative Assembly, Guests of Honour Mr Rajender Pal Gautam- MLA Seemapuriand Mr. M.L Ambhore-Deputy Director of Education, Zone VI, Special Guest Mr. M.L Kaushik-Deputy Director of Education N E Distt. along with Director Principal- Dr. (Mrs.) Manik Barsaley, Principal- Dr. S.K Sharma, Vice Principals- Mr. Vibhu Shrotria and Mrs. P.V Barsaley and the In charges.

 

Dr.(Mrs.) Manik Barsaley accorded the guests a warm welcome and presented them with Planters to express our concern for environment. Dr S.K Sharma presented Mementos to the revered Guests and the Vice Principals and Incharges honoured them by presenting shawls.

 

Followed by the welcome of the Guests was the PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY wherein all the meritorious Teachers and students were given Certificates and Mementos. All the Awardees walked on the stage with immense pride and pleasure.  It was indeed a momentous occasion for the achievers in the field of sports as they were also encouraged by awarding them Track Suits. The blessings by Mr. Ram Niwas Goel and Mr M.L Ambhore and their words of motivation added to their zeal and happiness!

The Ballet- ABHYUTHAN commenced on a very zealous note! It was prepared on the theme of Progression of India from the British period to where it is now. It showcased the exploitation of Indians at the hands of Britishers and extreme oppression. The students presented classical, contemporary and warrior dance in the ballet with great expression of anger, fear and valour. The scene depicting Queen of Jhansi fighting the English with valour left the audience mesmerized and applauding. Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and

 

Sukh Dev’s hanging and the reverberating music of Vande Matram created an aura of patriotism. Towards the end the progression of the school was depicted and Sh R.R Joshi-our Bauji was fondly remembered. The Grand Finale rose the audience to their feet in excitement and there was unabated applause as as the students moved on the tune of Jai jai…

Mr Goel and Mr Gautam in their address congratulated the school management for encouraging the students in the field of extracurricular activities and sports and for putting up a grand show.

Finally, the vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs P.V Barsaley- Vice Principal followed by the National Anthem.

Greenfields Public school, G.T.B. Enclave Dilshad Garden, Delhi celebrated its Annual Day ‘Junoon The Passion’ and Prize Giving Function on Saturday , 22nd November 2014 the programme commenced with the lighting of lamp by Honourable Chief  Guest Mr. Harsh Deep Malhotra, Chairman, Standing Committee(education) EDMC, Ms. Swati Gupta, Municipal Counsellor ,EDMC Dilshad Garden Delhi. Distinguished guests Mr. Anupam Bhatnagar, Director, Vidya Vihar School, Naveen Shahdara, Mr. V. Kumar, Administration Officer Greenfields Public School, Dilshad Garden  Mr. Vipul Barsaley, Manager Greenfields Public School, Rameshwar Park Loni, Romita Sharma, Principal Greenfields Public School, Vivek Vihar, Delhi.

“JUNOON- The Passion” ballet was an amalgamation of cultural items – dance, drama, music, martial arts and a display of traditional and devotional aspects of indian life depicting the self motivation and determination of Eklavya and Chanakya, the great legendary heores. The highlights of merciless killing of innocent people at Jallianwala Bagh was also effectively dramatized. The ‘Five Elements’ depicted the varied beauty of mother earth and the five elements. And finally the siginificance of satyamav jayate.

The programme was presented by the students with grace, poise, rhythem and perfect synchronization. It had all the flavours and colours of their talent, skill and expertise.

The students who excelled in academics and sports were felicitated by the chief guest and worthy Principal, Dr. Mrs. Manik Barsaley and Dr. S.K. Sharma, Vice principal. The teachers achieving 100% result in 12th board examination were also honoured by the chief guest.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. P.V. Barsaley, Incharge. She extended her thanks to the honourable chief guest and esteemed guests of Honour for sparing their valuable time and motivating the students by their benign presence. Futher she thanked the parents, students and staff members for their untiring co-operation in making this event a memorable one. The programme ended with the national anthem.

Mega event ‘Gunjan 7’ – the annual day of Middle Deptt., Greenfields Public School, Dilshad Garden was celebrated with gaiety on 20th Dec. 2014 in the school premises.  Mr. Manoj Tiwari, M.P. North East Delhi was the Chief Guest. Ms. Meenakshi, Mayor, EDMC presided over the function.  Mr. Anil Gupta, District President, BJP, Naveen Shahdara, Mrs. Swati Gupta, Councillor and Dy. Chairman, EDMC, Shahdra North Zone and Mr. Kumar Vishu were the Guests of Honour. 

The programme commenced with the lighting of lamp by Dr. (Ms.) Manik Barsaley, Director Principal/Manager, Dr. S.K. Sharma, Offg. Principal, Mrs. Purnima Upadhyay, Head Mistress and Incharges present on the occasion.  The guests were felicitated with bouquets and mementos.

Indian folk and tribal dances are simple and are performed to express joy which adds to the richness of Indian Culture.  Keeping this aspect in mind ‘Dances of India’ performed by the students  with dramatic expression combined with rhythmic intricacy left the audience spell bound.  The expression ‘Use it or lose it’ found its meaning in the sports presentation ‘Chak De India’ performed by the students to bring out the true sportsman spirit.  The students showcased their dramatic talent in the English Skit ‘Christmas Carol’ which was appreciated by one and all.  Dances are a form of coherent expression of human beings and have become an integral part of our social milieu which was well depicted in the ‘Cultural Melange’-  riveting dance performances by the students which added colour to the event.  A dance and drama titled  ‘Khub Ladi Mardaani – Rani Laxmi Bai’ highlighting the great warrior’s life and her devotion to the country mesmerized the audience. Jashn –e- Azadi dedicated to all the brave leaders and fighters found the audience celebrating and rejoicing in the spirit  of independence.  The students presented a ‘Nukkad Natak’ to highlight the key message  of cleanliness and inspiring the people from all walks of life in taking part in the cleanliness and sanitation drive.   A flavour of International Dances was also added wherein the students danced with great poise and rhythm.  A musical tribute was paid to the great legend Kishore Kumar which created magic on the stage.

In the last session of the event the proud Greenarians walked the stage and presented a vibrant glimpse of the headgears of different countries (U.S.A., Mexico, U.K., France, Russia & India) during a fashion parade followed by the Grand Finale.
