Literacy Campaign

The curriculum at GPS aims at developing traits of empathy and benevolence in their pupils who are involved in multifarious activities to serve the society. The students of VIII to X have taken up literacy campaign where the students in a group of four to five along with a teacher go to Sanskar Ashram to teach the children who are underprivileged and downtrodden.

They are taught to read and write, stories with moral values are narrated to them and their experiences are shared. All attempts are made to lend them a smile and make them happy. The Greenarians also presented them with friendship bands, stationary items and some books on different occasions.

One of the students- Pari, celebrated her birthday with the girls in the Ashram and shared chocolates with them and in return they presented her with beautiful handmade cards. An ongoing process gave opportunities to all the children to care and share with those who are deprived.
