Vibhor Chaturvedi of X-I participated in zonal Sanskrit declamation competition held at Sarvodya Bal Vidyalaya Gandhi Memorial, G.T. Road, Shahadra on 30th August 2019.As many as 58 schools participated in the competition. Vibhor’s confidence and extraordinary oratory skills helped him secure the FIRST POSITION in the competition.



Smt. Rama Joshi Memorial Inter School Declamation Contest ‘Ramanjali’ was organized on 30th August 2019 by GPS in its premises. The contest aimed to hone the speaking skills of the students. The event commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony by the Principal, Headmistress, Incharges and the judges which was followed by Krishna Stuti choired by the school students. The contest was judged by Dr. Nilanjana Mukherjee, Professor of English, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi and Mr. Subhash Garg, Secretary, Maharaja Agarsen Engineering and Management College, Delhi. As many as 31 students from 17 schools participated in the event, held in two categories. “Strength has no gender” was the theme voiced upon by the senior group and “Tomorrow never comes” by the juniors. A neck to neck struggle of dexterous articulation among the participants was seen from various schools. The participants voiced their views with confidence and enthusiasm. The originality and eloquence were the hallmarks of the contest. The winners of the contest were: The rolling trophy of the contest was lifted by Lovely Public Sr. Sec. School. The winners were felicitated with cash prizes and certificates and their efforts were appreciated by the Founder Principal cum Manager- Dr Manik Barsaley, the Principal and the judges. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
