GOLDEN JUBILEE RALLY

13th April, 2016 saw the students of class VIII full of energy, liveliness and exuberance as a Rally was organized for them on the vital occasion of Golden Jubilee celebrations. The students with a lot of ardour had prepared placards with slogans eulogising their beloved alma mater. The Rally was flagged off by the Founder Principal-Dr. (Mrs) Manik Barsaley, Principal- Dr. S.K Sharma, Vice Principals and in charges. The students and teachers rallied from school to GTB Hospital and via Tahirpur village returned back to school. They sang the School Motto song ‘Greenfields we love you’ enroute and raised slogans which really caught the attention of passers-by and daily commuters. The happy and elated students took great pride in being Greenarians and on their return back enjoyed refreshment and shared their experiences and delight.

Golden Fiesta

Greenfields public school celebrated Annual Fete entitled “Golden Fiesta” to commemorate the 50 glorious years of school on 17.01.2016. The fiesta began with the ribbon cutting ceremony by the honourable Founder Principal cum Manager, Dr. (Mrs) Manik Barsaley and the Principal Dr. S.K. Sharma in benign presence of respected Vice-Principal Mr. Vibhu Shrotria and Mrs. Pooja Barsaley along with all the worthy incharges and the entire staff.

 The fete was a great success and had multifarious colours and charisma. The variety of stalls enchanted everybody. There were several stalls including appetizing food items, distinctive swings, gleeful camel ride, alluring ethnic wear, handbags and jewelleries. The visitors also had the opportunity to learn more about different courses sponsored by government under the Alliance educare and Research Pvt.ltd. Many people turned up to make the golden fiesta a big hit.

The tempting and mouth-watering food included Chinese, North Indian and continental and the adventurous Camel ride added golden glint to the golden fiesta. The swings like Columbus, the break dance etc., the lively music and DJ was a real delight and students enjoyed it throughout.

The event culminated with the enthralling and entertaining performance by the celebrity Mr. Prem Bhatia, who is a renowned singer and entertained all with his melodious voice and euphonious songs. The event was stupendous and remarkable. All the students, parents and teachers were mesmerized and enjoyed a lot in the golden fiesta.

 

DANDIYA NIGHT

On the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebrations, a Dandiya Evening was organized for the students of class IX of the school on 16th October, 2015. Stalls were set up of delectable dishes and snacks, dinner was organized and camel rides were planned which the children enjoyed to the fullest.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Director Principal- Dr (Mrs.) M. Barsaley, Dr. S.K Sharma-Principal and all the In charges followed by the Dandiya Dance on vibrant and vivacious numbers! The children enjoyed the dance on peppy Gujrati songs, camel rides, fun games and scrumptious dinner!

It was a fun filled evening for the students and teachers!

 

GOLDEN JUBILEE LOGO UNVEILED

16th July,2015 was one of the most momentous days in the history of Greenfields School as the school embarked on its Golden Jubilee year. The celebrations commenced with the ‘Unveiling of Golden Jubilee Logo’ by the Director Principal Dr ( Mrs) Manik Barsaley, Officiating Principal Dr S. K Sharma who were joined in by the Incharges and the House captains. Prior to the ceremony a soulful performance invoking Lord Ganesha was presented followed by a vibrant Dances marking the celebrations of the day.

The program was telecasted live in the classes and the school reverberated with the cheerful sounds and thunderous applause. Director Principal in her address shared little anecdotes related to school and attributed the success and  prosperity of the school to Her Father- Late Sh R.R Joshi ji, our revered Bauji as he is fondly remembered. Fifty Balloons were released amid intense gaiety and joy. As the balloons soared high in the sky the cheerful sounds of the children filled the air. The school bore a festive look as the venue was beautifully decorated.

Last but not the least, Director Principal and the officiating Principal along with the In charges joined the tiny toons of Primary dept. for the cake cutting ceremony. The children cut the cake singing aloud the Happy Birthday song. The celebrations came to an end on a very happy note.
