The Resource Person motivated the teachers by appreciating the efforts put in by them to ensure constructive learning in the class. She not only valued the hard work being undertaken by the teachers but also portrayed the plight of the students who seem to be coping with the stress in the present scenario. She laid stress on the fact that the teachers must be empathetic towards the students and should engage them in a two-way learning process. She also highlighted the fact that even the parents need to be vigilant to avoid any sort of defiance during the teaching -learning process.

Ms. Latha further guided the teachers to go through ‘PRAGYATA’ which is an assistance being provided by the MHRD in context to the guidelines on Digital Education. She apprised that the teaching can be both Synchronous and Asynchronous. The main concern of the teachers was to ascertain whether the students are focused during online teaching since there is no specific way to keep a close watch on them and to minimize the disruption caused by the intruders. Mrs. Latha accepted the concern but stressed that the teachers need to foster the interest of the students by motivating and engaging them in certain classroom projects like making PPTs, sharing videos on special occasions, specific celebrations or on any generic topic. She also suggested to lock the meeting, use of email ids to send the link for class etc to minimize such hampering. Further she recommended that teachers must use certain applications to make their teaching content interesting like Padlet, Mentimetre, Kahoot, Next sim etc

The session culminated with the answers to the queries raised by the teachers. Overall the session was highly enlightening and did equip the teachers with a handful of ideas.
